Elmer Gantry (1960)
Elmer Gantry har ikke altid været et af Guds bedste børn, men søster Sharon er så smuk, at han taber hovedet og lader sig omvende. Elmer viser sig at have så pragtfulde talegaver, at han hurtigt kommer til at stå i spidsen for 'flokken'. Men på et tidspunkt truer fortiden med at indhente ham.
