Filmen er baseret pσ Billy Moores selvbiografi om sit liv undenfor murene i Thailand, og du fσr hele brutaliteten med, mens der alligevel er lys for enden af tunnelen, fordi han gennem thaiboksning finder en vej ud af elendigheden. Og hvis du synes, hovedpersonen virker bekendt, sσ har du nok set ham i Peaky Blinders, hvor Joe Cole spiller rollen om John Shelby.
